Incorporation of Carlos Loaiza Keel as partner of the firm

We are proud to announce the incorporation of Dr. Carlos Loaiza Keel* as partner of the Tax Department of Sanguinetti/Fodere Abogados.
Carlos Loaiza Keel graduated as J.D. at the University of Montevideo, Uruguay, 2003 (summa cum laude) and obtained an LL.M. in Taxation (Centro Europeo de Estudios Garrigues, 2007) and an LL.M. in Corporate Law (Harvard Law School-Centro Europeo de Estudios Garrigues, 2009).
He started his professional career in PwC and joined the Taxation department of Garrigues Abogados in 2006 (Spain), where he developed an extensive professional practice advising multinational groups in complex M&A deals and tax planning. In 2009 he joined the M&A and Taxation department of Barros & Errázuriz Abogados (Chile).
He is also professor of Tax Law and International Taxation in two universities and has participated in several congresses and seminars. He has published 5 books and more than 60 articles on his field and leads Consultor Tributario, a specialized supplement on taxes with the sponsorship of Thomson Reuters Group.
Carlos Loaiza Keel will undoubtedly contribute to the firm his extensive experience and expertise in complex transnational and local transactions, tax planning and corporate law.
